Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026
Last updated: September 28, 2026

CDX Studios LLC (“CDX Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our website at https://cdxstudiosllc.net/, our mobile game Drones vs Hunter, and any related services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”).

CDX Studios LLC is a Texas limited liability company and is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use the Services.

A. Game account and identification information

Drones vs Hunter may automatically create a guest game account so you can use online features. We may collect or generate:

  • A randomly generated device-based account identifier stored by the game;
  • A game account or user ID;
  • A session ID and authentication tokens;
  • A generated player name, such as a name beginning with “Pilot”; and
  • Information used to reconnect you to an active match.

The current guest-account system does not require your real name, email address, or phone number to play. If we later introduce optional account registration or account linking, we will update this Privacy Policy and explain what additional information is collected.

B. Multiplayer and gameplay information

When you play, we may process information such as:

  • Your selected role, team, and player color;
  • Public or private room participation and room codes;
  • Match state, movement, commands, buildings, units, combat actions, rescues, and match results;
  • Game progress, settings, unlocked content, and cosmetic entitlements; and
  • Connection, disconnection, and reconnection events.

Other players in the same match may see your generated player name, role, color, game actions, and match results.

C. Device, network, and security information

Our servers and service providers may automatically process technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address;
  • Connection times, server requests, and diagnostic or error logs;
  • App version, game protocol version, and platform type;
  • Authentication, matchmaking, and security events; and
  • Other technical information transmitted by your device when connecting to the Services.

If the game crashes, stops responding, or hits an error, the app sends a crash report to our crash-reporting provider, Sentry. A crash report includes information such as the app version, device model, operating system, memory and screen details, technical details of the error, and a short list of recent game events (for example, the screen you were on or a lost connection). It does not include your game account ID, name, email address, IP address, or payment information, and it is not linked to your account.

We use this information to connect players, maintain service reliability, prevent cheating and abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the Services.

D. Purchase information

If you purchase a cosmetic item or other digital content, payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We may receive and process:

  • The product purchased;
  • Transaction or order identifiers;
  • Purchase tokens or receipts;
  • Purchase status and entitlement information; and
  • Information needed to validate or restore a purchase.

We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number. Apple or Google processes your payment under its own terms and privacy policy.

E. Website, support, and correspondence information

If you contact us, we may collect your email address, the contents of your message, attachments you choose to send, and information needed to respond. Our website host may also process IP addresses, browser or device information, timestamps, and request logs for security and operation.

The website may use cookies or similar storage that are strictly necessary for site operation, security, or your preferences. We do not currently use the website for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add nonessential website analytics, newsletters, advertising cookies, or additional cookies, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices or consent tools.

F. Information stored locally on your device

The game may store certain information locally, including your generated guest identifier, audio preferences, other game settings, and cached purchase-entitlement information. Removing the app may remove some local information, but it may not delete information held by our servers, Apple, or Google.

2. Information We Do Not Currently Collect

The current version of the Services is not designed to collect precise location, contacts, camera or microphone recordings, photos, health information, biometric information, public chat messages, user-uploaded content, or advertising identifiers. Drones vs Hunter does not contain advertising or use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If these practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and the applicable app-store privacy disclosures before using the new feature.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Create and maintain guest accounts and game sessions;
  • Provide matchmaking, private rooms, multiplayer gameplay, reconnection, and game results;
  • Process, verify, restore, and maintain digital purchases and entitlements;
  • Save settings and game progress;
  • Operate, maintain, test, and improve the Services;
  • Diagnose crashes, connection failures, and technical problems;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Enforce our Terms of Service;
  • Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests;
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect players, CDX Studios, and others; and
  • Send service-related communications when necessary.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where laws such as the European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection laws require a legal basis, we process personal information as follows:

  • Contract: to provide the game, multiplayer functions, purchases, support, and other features you request;
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, prevent cheating and fraud, and understand service performance, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
  • Legal obligation: to satisfy tax, accounting, consumer-protection, law-enforcement, and other legal requirements; and
  • Consent: when we specifically ask for consent for an optional activity. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

A. Other players

Players in your match may see your generated player name, role, color, game actions, and results. A private room code should only be shared with people you intend to invite.

B. Service providers

We may use hosting, database, networking, security, crash-reporting (Sentry, operated by Functional Software, Inc.), customer-support, and other vendors to operate the Services. These providers may process information for us under contractual or legal restrictions.

C. Apple and Google

Apple and Google process app distribution, platform accounts, payments, refunds, and purchase restoration under their own privacy policies. We may exchange purchase identifiers or receipts with them to validate purchases.

D. Legal, safety, and enforcement purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or secure the Services.

E. Business transfers

Information may be disclosed as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We will update this Policy and provide legally required choices before materially changing that practice.

6. International Data Transfers

CDX Studios is based in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States or other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • Account identifiers and associated progress or entitlements while the account remains active or as needed to provide the Services;
  • Live match state for the duration of a match, although limited match results, operational records, or security records may remain afterward;
  • Crash and error reports for up to 90 days;
  • Routine server and security logs generally for no longer than 90 days, unless a longer period is needed to investigate abuse, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or comply with law;
  • Support correspondence for up to three years after the matter is closed, unless a different period is required or appropriate; and
  • Transaction, tax, accounting, dispute, and legal-compliance records for the period required by applicable law.

Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten during ordinary backup cycles. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no internet transmission, server, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or app-store credentials to us by email.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. You may also have rights concerning the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We do not sell personal information for money or show advertisements in Drones vs Hunter.

To submit a request, email developer@cdxstudiosllc.net or visit https://cdxstudiosllc.net/delete-account/. We may need to verify that you control the relevant game account before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may contact your local data-protection authority or state attorney general if you believe your privacy rights have been violated, although we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your online game account from the main menu by opening Options, selecting Delete Account, and confirming the permanent deletion. You may also request deletion at https://cdxstudiosllc.net/delete-account/ or by emailing developer@cdxstudiosllc.net.

Deleting your CDX Studios game account is permanent and may remove your game progress, online profile, and CDX Studios-managed entitlements. It does not automatically delete records maintained independently by Apple or Google, cancel your Apple or Google account, or create a right to a refund. We may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, disputes, or legal compliance.

See our Account Deletion page for instructions and more information.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 13 years old. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the Services.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact developer@cdxstudiosllc.net. We will investigate and delete the information as required by law.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or rely on third-party services, including Apple App Store and Google Play. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and this Privacy Policy does not control their independent activities.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, our practices, or applicable laws change. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
