Sniper Beans Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
CDX Studios LLC (“CDX Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) makes Sniper Beans, an online sniper and bat multiplayer game for iPhone, iPad and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information Sniper Beans collects, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. CDX Studios LLC is a Texas limited liability company and is responsible for this information.
1. Information We Collect
A. Game account
The first time you open Sniper Beans, the game creates a guest account for you. We generate a random device identifier and a secret that the game keeps on your device; our server stores the identifier, a one-way hash of the secret, your account number, the platform (iOS or Android), the app version, and when the account was created and last used. You do not need to give us your real name, email address or phone number to play.
B. Player name
You choose a player name, or keep one we suggest. Names are checked against a filter and must be unique. Your player name is public: other players see it in matches, on the scoreboard and leaderboards, and in friends lists.
C. Game Center and Google Play Games (optional)
If you are signed in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), the game can send us a sign-in proof from Apple or Google. We use it only to confirm and store your Game Center or Play Games player ID, so you can get your account back on a new phone or after reinstalling. We may use your Game Center or Play Games nickname to suggest a player name. We do not receive your Apple or Google password or email address.
D. Gameplay and leaderboards
While you play, our servers process your movement, aim, shots and other match actions, the team you are on, and match results. We store statistics such as kills, deaths, headshots, bat kills, rounds won and played, and time played, for weekly and all-time leaderboards. Leaderboards show your player name and statistics to everyone.
E. Friends
If you use the friends list, we store your friend requests and friendships. Your friends can see whether you are online or in a match and which map you are on, can invite you to their match, and can join yours when there is space.
F. Purchases
Outfits are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which process your payment. We receive the product you bought, a transaction ID or purchase token, and the signed receipt, and we use them to verify the purchase and unlock the outfit on your account. We never receive your payment card details.
G. Device, network and security information
To run the game and protect it, our servers process your IP address, connection times, the app version and platform, and security events such as failed or repeated connections. These appear in our server logs.
H. Information stored only on your device
Your settings, your device identifier and secret, and a copy of your player name and outfits are stored on your device. If you allow notifications, the game schedules occasional reminders on your device itself (for example, a reminder of your best match). The details used for these reminders, such as the hour you usually play and your best kill count, stay on your device and are not sent to us.
2. What We Don’t Collect
Sniper Beans has no ads, no advertising ID, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no crash-reporting service, and no text or voice chat. It does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or files.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above to create and keep your account, run matches and matchmaking, show leaderboards and friends lists, verify and restore purchases, recover your account through Game Center or Google Play Games, keep the game running and fix problems, prevent cheating, fraud and abuse, respond to your requests, and meet legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
- Other players see your player name, team, actions in matches, statistics on leaderboards, and, for friends, your online status.
- Service providers: our servers are hosted by DigitalOcean, which stores and processes data for us under contract.
- Apple and Google process payments, refunds, store accounts, Game Center and Google Play Games under their own privacy policies; we exchange purchase receipts and sign-in proofs with them to verify them.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect players, CDX Studios or others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
- Business transfers: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
5. How Long We Keep Information
We keep your account, player name, statistics, friends and outfits until you delete your account. Server and security logs are kept for no longer than 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate abuse or fraud or to comply with law. Purchase records needed for tax, accounting, refunds or disputes are kept as long as the law requires; when you delete your account they are no longer linked to it. Backups may hold data until they are overwritten.
6. Security
The game’s connection to our servers is encrypted, and your device secret is stored on our server only as a one-way hash. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Delete your account in the game: Settings, then Delete account. See https://cdxstudiosllc.net/sniper-beans/delete-account/ for other ways.
- Change your player name in Settings.
- Notifications: turn them off in Settings or in your phone’s settings.
- Game Center or Google Play Games: sign out in your phone’s settings to stop linking.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, or to object to or restrict its use. To make a request, email developer@cdxstudiosllc.net. We may ask for information to confirm the account is yours.
8. Children
Sniper Beans is meant for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact developer@cdxstudiosllc.net and we will delete it.
9. International Users
We are based in the United States, and our servers may be located in the United States or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we will give additional notice where the law requires.
